ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe is aiming to solve its currently problematic supply chain planning puzzle and optimize its supply chain processes with Quintiq, a specialist in Advanced Planning & Scheduling solutions. Quintiq successfully completed a proof of concept with the steel supplier last year.
The planning and scheduling software previously used by ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe provided a limited level of visibility of its supply chain planning processes. Consequently, ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe put together a list of requirements for an optimal, tailor-made planning software solution.
