The Kamloops Exploration Group (KEG) held its 25th annual conference in Kamloops on April 3rd and 4th, 2012. Since 1987, KEG has held one of B.C.’s highest quality and most inexpensive conferences annually.
With the international mining attention and exposure that Kamloops has been getting over the past year it was no surprise that this year's conference was the biggest yet. There were a total of 521 registered delegates and over 100 people from the general public who attended the trade show. The conference attracted people in the mining industry from throughout Western Canada.
The two-day conference was full of technical highlights, exploration successes and issues. The field trips and courses that were offered to attendees were over subscribed. Throughout the two-day conference there were trade shows hosting vendors from throughout North America exhibiting their companies products, technology and services.
Next years conference will be held from April 9th to 10th where KEG will hopefully set a new record of attendees. If you would like more information on KEG or next years conference please go to keg.bc.ca.
