Eight outstanding individuals and two projects have been honoured by Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia at its Annual Conference in Vancouver, BC held October 19 – 20, 2018.
This year’s recipients have truly made a difference in their respective professions, careers or communities. They are being honoured for exceptional professional achievement, outstanding service to the community and to professional associations or learned societies, distinctive accomplishments in their professional fields, and excellence in teaching.
BC’s engineers and geoscientists are explorers and problem solvers who lead the way in public safety, quality, and innovation. They are committed to improving and protecting the health and well-being of the people of this province every day.

Engineers and Geoscientists BC’s Sustainability Award recognizes a project that demonstrates a commitment to, and understanding of the concept of sustainability, while the Environmental Award recognizes a project that exemplifies exceptional environmental protection or environmental enhancement.
