Canada has been utilizing wind farms for years now, and this renewable energy source currently meets about six per cent of the country’s electricity needs. The Canadian Wind Energy Association is planning to increase capacity with a new strategy, which would see 20 per cent of our energy demands met via wind power by 2025.
