NORDEX EXPLOSIVES LTD. is pleased to announce the confirmation of an agreement in principle with the Pacific Group of Companies (“PGC”) for a joint venture partnership to facilitate the introduction of Nordex products and services to Western Canada.
The Pacific Group of Companies is a British Columbia based leader in the construction and industrial services business. Nordex and PGC are actively developing and establishing new operational sites in Western Canada to promote and support the sale of the Nordex lines of explosive products to western mining and construction industries.
PGC has been undertaking controlled precision blasting operations internationally since 1954. The Pacific Group divisions include: Blasting/Rockwork/Mining, Demolition, Excavation & Shoring, Civil Construction, Heavy Industrial Moving, Design/Build Industrial Contracting and Drill & Drill Consumables Sales & Service.
This agreement will further the Nordex business strategy of expanding the footprint for its proprietary line of explosives products and equipment which includes the Buttbuster perimeter control products as well as the recently developed Scorpion underground loader system(s) and a complete line of complimentary emulsion products.

Plans are currently underway for the transportation and initial delivery of Nordex products to a new facility currently being developed as part of the Nordex expansion plans for 2014.
